Acceptable Use Policy
Rules for safe and lawful use of Nano Banana 2.1's AI image services
Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every prompt, uploaded image, generated result, and edit used with Nano Banana 2.1. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Nano Banana 2.1 provides access to disclosed Google image models, including the Nano Banana family, and OpenAI GPT Image models through third-party infrastructure providers. You remain responsible for having the rights and permissions required for every input and intended use of an output.
Prohibited Content and Uses
You must not use Nano Banana 2.1 to create, edit, request, upload, or distribute:
- Sexual or NSFW content: pornography, explicit nudity, sexual violence, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexualized content involving a real person, or attempts to digitally undress a person.
- Child sexual abuse material or exploitation (CSAM): any sexualized depiction of a minor or a person who appears to be a minor. This category is prohibited without exception and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Graphic violence and self-harm: gore, torture, glorification of serious injury, instructions that facilitate self-harm, or content intended to encourage violence.
- Hate and harassment: content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens, or promotes discrimination against a protected person or group.
- Deceptive impersonation and deepfakes: misleading depictions of real people, celebrities, public figures, or politicians; identity misuse; face swaps without authorization; fraud; or content designed to mislead viewers about a real event or endorsement.
- Copyright and trademark infringement: unauthorized use of copyrighted characters, artwork, logos, product packaging, trade dress, or other protected material, including content that falsely suggests sponsorship or affiliation.
- Illegal or abusive activity: scams, phishing, malware, unlawful goods or services, gambling promotion, privacy violations, evasion of safety controls, or any use prohibited by applicable law.
Safety Review
Nano Banana 2.1 scans prompts before generation with Waffo Prompt Sift in enforced semantic mode, in addition to model-provider safety controls. A request may be blocked or held for review. Generated images are private by default and are not automatically added to a public gallery.
Do not attempt to evade a safety decision through misspellings, encoded instructions, image-based instructions, repeated requests, or other obfuscation. Safety systems are imperfect; an allowed request does not mean the content is lawful or permitted under this AUP.
Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, Nano Banana 2.1 may block a request, remove content, disable sharing, suspend or permanently ban an account, preserve relevant audit records, reverse access obtained through abuse, or report suspected illegal activity. Severe child-safety, non-consensual sexual imagery, fraud, or credible-threat cases may result in immediate action without warning.
Reporting and Appeals
Report suspected violations through our contact form or email support@nano-banana-2-1.com. Include the relevant page URL or prompt ID, the reason for the report, and any supporting information. Do not email illegal imagery; provide only the minimum information needed to locate it.
To appeal a safety decision or account restriction, use the same channel and identify the affected request or account. We review reports and appeals in context, but we may withhold details that would expose safety controls or another person's data.
Updates
We may update this AUP as laws, model capabilities, and abuse patterns change. The date above identifies the current version.
